GETTING TO KNOW CHIP

HOBBIES:
Coaching my son Max’s flag football team (seeing the kids improve and have fun is fulfilling), fantasy football, attending ASU football games, cheering for my daughter Addison at her swim meets.

PETS: A yellow lab named Henry who lets our kids climb all over him and in return simply asks that someone leave their food unattended so he can get an extra meal

FAVORITE PLACE HE’S TRAVELED: A vacation on a Disney Cruise with my wife Lisa and our 2 children that went to the Bahamas, St. Thomas and St. Martin, a trip we took to Europe (Rome was our favorite city), Juniper Springs Ranch outside of Prescott, AZ and Upper Falls (watching the crest) in Yellowstone National Park

FAVORITE BOOK: Breaking the rules by Kurt Wright, Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill and Persuasion by Dr. Robert Cialdini

FAVORITE MOVIE QUOTE: “What we have here is a failure to communicate!” – Cool Hand Luke, “A man’s got to know his limitations.” – Magnum Force and any quote from Caddy Shack

BIGGEST FEAR: Swimming alone in deep water in the ocean

FIRST JOB: Selling plant seeds and Grit magazine as a door to door salesman at 10 years old – I learned perseverance and it taught me to be adaptable and fit in with a lot of different people at my first “real” job working as a cook and dishwasher at Famous Recipe Fried Chicken in Trotwood, OH at 16

SOMETHING ON HIS BUCKET LIST: Loves history so seeing the ancient pyramids in person would be great. As a performer at heart who enjoys making people laugh it would be fun to try stand-up comedy
